Women in Football have expressed their “disgust” at the “disgraceful” racial abuse directed at Tottenham Ladies player Renée Hector on social media.
Hector has been centered, seeing that she mentioned racial abuse against her in January. Sheffield United forward Sophie Jones has been banned for five video games in the remaining week.
In an assertion, Women in Football stated: “Women in Football desires to explicit disgust at the disgraceful and thoroughly unacceptable racial abuse directed at Renée Hector of Tottenham Ladies on social media.
“We would love to commend Renée for calling out the racial abuse she obtained while gambling for Spurs towards Sheffield United and the spark-off motion taken through the applicable governing our bodies and membership.”
Sheffield United said during the closing week that Jones’s contract had been terminated via “agreement” after she was observed guilty of making monkey noises. Jones introduced afterward that she was quitting soccer.
