Danish Saeed claimed a completely deserving gold medal within the Mardan District Spring Inter-Club Wushu Championship starting category, which concluded at Sports Complex Mardan on Monday.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Wushu Association President Waheed Khan was the chief visitor to this event. Regional Sports Officer Kashif Farhan, Secretary FATA Olympic Association Rehman Gul Afridi, Provincial General Secretary and teacher Najum Uddin, officers, gamers, and spectators were also present.
Speaking at this event, Waheed Khan preferred Regional Sports Officer Kashif Farhan for organizing a variety of Janshan-e-Baharan (Spring) Martial Arts Festivals, which included Taekwondo, Wushu, Judo, Karak, Moi Thai, Boxing, and Full Body Contact.
He said such an occasion might truly play a key role in presenting opportunities to upcoming young gamers to participate in various martial arts games and in assisting them in looking for new expertise.
On this occasion, Kashif Farhan disclosed that the intention and goal of the Spring Martial Arts Festival is to search out new faces in all Martial Arts Games in Mardan and Swabi. He also lauded District Nazim Mardan Ihstisham Khan, Deputy Commissioner Mardan, and Regional Sports Officer Swabi Muhammad Tariq Khan for extending all-out support to achieve Mardan’s Spring Sports Martial Arts Festival.
Earlier, in exceptional weight categories, the players excelled in their performances and received cheering reactions from the sitting spectators. In the 44kg weight category, Sajilah, another promising player, claimed a gold medal after defeating her sturdy rival Zainab Khan on points; Komal took the bronze medal.
In the other weight classes, together with 42kg weight, Amna received a gold medal after defeating Sumaira even as Zarmeena and Mehak took the bronze medal; in the 65kg weight category, Sara recorded a victory in opposition to Reena and Hira at the same time as Lovaza and Madiha took bronze medals. Both female and male players from Swabi, Malakand, are taking the Spring Martial Arts Festival to be continued for one month. The leader guest gave away trophies and medals to the location holders during the give-up.
